Duck Tape can be used for so many things. Now a days, it's available it all sorts of fun colors and prints and people are making wallets, handbags and other accessories out of duct tape. Here are some helpful tips on others great things to do with duct tape.
We used a cheap volleyball net above a wall we share with our neighbor to keep the basketball from going over the wall. We didn't want an "eyesore" so we used black duct tape to cover the white trim which made it disappear into the shadows.:)
Planning any camping trips this summer? Be sure to pack some duct tape. It's a must have for repairing holes and/or rips in air mattresses and tents. It can also be used to hoist up food so the bears' can't get it. While your out camping and you head out for a hike, you might want to duct tape your pant leg to your boots. This will ensure you'll get no bites from mosquitoes, ticks, and flies.
Say goodbye to those pesky flies with duct tape. Simply attach five to ten pieces of duct tape to itself making a ring with the sticky side out. Hang it near the overhead lights. The bugs will get stuck. Throw out the tape and your pests will be gone.
Our hose hookup is at the front of the house, and sadly we had our hose stolen. We were left with no choice but to keep rolling it up and lugging it into the garage after every use. A friendly neighbor mentioned how their hose had never been stolen mainly because it was full of holes which had been repaired with duct tape. We wrapped our perfectly good hose with some random spots of duct tape and now nobody is interested in taking it.
